Submitted by Gaston on Wed, 08/10/2011 - 01:30Despite the rain & the lack of sun, we had one fine day as
Philip Shalam & myself ventured off to Sheepshead Bay where we then boarded up on a couple of jet skis at Jetty Jumpers heading out for a 3 hour tour, a 3hour tour of the Brooklyn & lower Manhattan area.
HOT TODDY....A WINTERS NIGHT
Submitted by Gaston on Mon, 12/27/2010 - 06:29130 am December 27th
I ventured off with great anticipation too have me a Hot Toddy after a Christmas that I was nice and not naughty
I walked and I searched moving on through the snow, underestimated the cold and that wind how she blows
I trudged onward and weary with nowhere to go, but one direction was left, that direction was home.
Now i sit here as i'm thawing out from the cold, my cloths wet and frozen, my beard filled with snow.
I took a few pictures of this blizzard 'burg land, I share with you now with Hot Toddy in hand.

Going on in Goa
Submitted by Gaston on Tue, 01/12/2010 - 08:10Lifes truly a beach here in Goa which resembles nothing like the rest of it's surrounding India.
It's been sun, sand, me and the sea along with visits to the market places.
Here's a bit of fun with the waterproof Canon D10

WRONG SIDE UP
Submitted by Gaston on Fri, 11/13/2009 - 09:33Thursday November 12th I went by the J Klaynberg Gallery and enjoyed viewing a collection of photographs by Philip Shalam
A suite of staircases shot from various viewpoints and then inverted, displaying them upside down giving an architectural abstract view
I thoroughly enjoyed "Third Eye" "G Clef" and "Vertigo"
Names and pieces very nicely matched
